TURBO/TURBO S Centerlock fitment we are now offering:

BBS FI-R 20 x 9.0 et52

BBS FI-R 20 x 11.5 et54
So now I’m completely confused. What are the correct sizes and offsets for a 5 lug 991.1 (non-S) turbo? Is the Tirerack spec wrong?

It clearly states that the Turbo/Turbo S need 11.5 x 20 ET54 and not 12 x 20 ET44, which is for the GT3. I did not like the increase in track width in the rear while leaving the front basically at stock. In my opinion that changes the balance of the Turbo. By the way, the front offset is only 1 mm difference (smaller than stock). Obviously this is negligible.

Long story, when I pointed it out to Eric at Supreme Power last week, he was surprised and also miffed that he did not know this. Apparently BBS North America's employees either do not know what they are doing or want to keep things simple by only offering the GT3 wheels (also for the Turbo). It is not correct that their dealers are offering the wrong wheels for the Turbo. Perhaps BBS feels that US drivers won't notice the difference.
Eric did a great job and ordered the correct wheels in Germany (with BBS). So I am now the first Turbo owner in the USA with the correct FI-R setup. I am sure he will be happy to help you out as well.
Dead on. I asked my "dealer" several times if the 991 Turbo S wheels were the EXACT SAME as the 991 GT3. And I was told YES. So, I waited MONTHS to get a set of these wheels only to have them installed and I've been disappointed since day one.

IND offered to buy back the wheels, but I just kept them. I went through months of waiting, and spent thousands on lowering springs and having it all installed with re-alignment. If I sent back the wheels to IND then I was going to spend thousands MORE to put the car back to stock. I was basically told "sorry." So, I got screwed. Such is life.

Thank you!
Thanks, but I'm not spending another dime on this "project." I'll just keep what I have.

Tell me about it.

And I even asked the question before I sent them my money! That's what I get for trusting someone.

Zero fitment issues with the 5 lug. The offset is perfect.

Thanks to all of you that posted pics previously.
It helped tremendously!
And thanks to Eric, Supremepower!

Is this car fitted with
20X9.5 CL ET50
20X12 CL ET44
Or
20X9 CL ET52
20X11.5 CL ET54
?

I'm contemplating a set of FI-R's for my TTS but not sure whether to go with what BBS recommend (20x9 et52, 20x11.5 et54) or..
go half an inch wider all around with the GT3RS fronts (20x9.5 et50) and GT3 rears (20x12 et44).

OEM TTS wheels are 20x9 et51 and 20x11.5 et56. The delta between front and rear offsets is 5mm.
Going with 991TT BBS FI-R CL sizes, the delta shrinks to 2mm.
Going with RSfront and GT3rear BBS FI-R, there's 11mm between front and rear offsets.

I don't mind a wider or narrower track, just as long as the fronts and rears are pushed out/in equally.

Thanks in advance.

Honestly,

I'm not sure.
I got my set up from Eric at Supremepower with Techart springs.
I've put almost 8k miles without any problems.

Sorry I couldn't be more help to you.

I've used BBS on every car I have ever owned with the exception of the Club Coupe, the Turbo which has the new Porsche carbon wheels and the Viper for which BBS does not currently make a wheel. No firm makes a better engineered metal wheel than BBS.

Curious to see this on the car, preferably with profile shot of side of the car showing wheel stance. Would you mind posting a pic?
