Good video. My '17 Turbo S arrives at the dealer next week, I was just going over specifics with my clear film guy. This video is going to come in handy.

Thank you Ryan.

You have some great PPF installers in your area. Who are you going with?

Force Field. Greg's done a great job on our cars in the past. Anyone else you'd recommend (other than Premier) if Greg is too back up?

Another question for you... how do you get the bumper to drop in order to remove the front headlights? Is it just a matter of removing all the torx screws on the top, bottom and inside the fenders before it will slide forward? On the 997s and 991.1s you need to remove the headlights and retaining clips behind the headlight before you'll get any movement on the bumper, hence my confusion.

No need to remove the bumper to remove the headlights. They unlock from the front truck with the key that's in the same box in the car as the toe hook attachment and then just slide out. I posted a DYI on the GT3 forum a couple of years ago, but many others have posted the same since, so you can search.

I believe that has changed with the 991.2s and they are now secured with 2 10mm bolts at the front of the headlight assembly. I'm curious on the best way to get to them.

There are screws under the frunk trim at the top of the bumper, screws inside and around the fender well as well as under the bumper. There are 2 screws that hold the headlights in place. It is a 2-person job to safely remove the bumper and remove the headlights.
