Hmmm then maybe 1st owner replaced chrome badging for chrome badging? I really don't know how or why it happened, but it sucks . I'd just remove it and de badge but it is a large opening and tends to look like a big blank space

i guess now I've gotta decide what lettering to put back on since it'll all be coming off. I was considering putting Porsche script back but only putting the turbo script below it

Which procedure are you referring to? I should be able to send you some pictures. In regards to the PVD...when we got our first batch of the BC tips about a year ago, we took a torch to it three times and put it out in water with no change. Should hold up great!
