Carrera red interior
There are so many of these for sale and seem to fetch a lower price. I have not seen one of these in person. Is it a love/hate thing? Impossible to resell?

In Beverly Hills you can't Swing A "STICK" on Robertson or Wilshire without hitting a completly Black 911 with a full Leather Carrera Red Interior. It's true too and the closer you get to the Doctor's office's or Acting Agencies it becomes more so.
One thing is for sure you can never go wrong with Black paint but many second hand buyer's are getting sick of the Carrera Red interior(in the local area). But that don't mean it won't sell in a hurry depending on options and price somewhere else.

Certainly it’s an individual choice but red interiors were a hard “no” for me when searching for a car (but I also absolutely didn’t want a black car and there are a ton of those out there.)
i do wish there were a few more choices commonly available that had two tone seats only (contrasting seating surfaces from sides/back) or as an accent color inside rather than the way it’s usually just flooded with red seats/carpet/doors/dash. Personally I find it all a bit too garish but thats just opinion.

It’s the only 997 I’ve seen with ff carbon buckets.

You might consider posting on the 997 forums. I’m not sure if the 997 and 991 options are the same.
I agree with the comments above about two tone seats or interiors vs. monochrome interiors, regardless of the leather color. My car has a two tone interior with deviated stitching as well as deviated carpets for this reason. I think a red interior can look good in the right car (I particularly like it with silver paint), but it’s definitely better in a two tone configuration.
