Default Out for a while

Spiral right femur fracture last Saturday, rod inserted. Going home today from hospital. Sucks, especially this time of year with weather so great. Shattered left femur 13 years ago in 4 places too so I know what's in front of me.

Really sorry to hear that. My middle daughter is in the process of recovering from a tib/fib fracture she got on her scooter last April. Two surgeries later she can put some weight on the leg and now it's straight. I had a friend get a spiral break like yours at age 55 a few years back, he was skiing in Vermont. It's tough when we are older to recover from these injuries and spiral breaks are the worst. I hope you are able to get through it quicker than most. Good Luck.

Thanks everyone! At least the wife can enjoy the car now, but she's a bit afraid of it. I was getting ready to buy her a Boxster S but will be postponing that for a while now.
