Default Just waiting to pick up....2014 991 TTS

Finally found the right car....and made the deal. Signing the papers tonight.
The only thing it did not have, but clearly not the deal breaker was the PAS.

2014 991 TTS
Coupe
White over Black
7000 miles
$197K MSRP

Main Options
1. Glass Roof
2. Burmester (not an audiophile, but WOW!)
3. Park Assist with Reversing Camera
4. Sprot Chrono and Instrument Dials in White
5. Crest on Headrests

I do not know all the details of this, but has some chip that takes it to 700 hp. AMS???

Before I take receipt of the car:

I'm having the old clear bra removed on the sides...looks a little yellow. Full detail and re-clear bra entire front and side rockers.

Escort 9500ci Install

At some point I may get the HRE P101's in 20" in Satin Black!

I'll post pics once I take delivery....but here are a few from the phone.

And one more thing....launch control....almost lost my lunch!

Finally - the whole reason to get 4 seats...finding that perfect front facing car seat for my 27 month old son for the back (that is why I sold my F430). From the research I have done...Maxi Cosi, but if anyone else has a real world example, please let me know. I do not want a booster or something too high that it hits the pillar or roof. I tried the Recaro from my SUV and it was too tall and too wide!

I don't think you are missing anything with the PAS. Mine has ACC which uses the same thing up front as the PAS and I think it's K band. If I have ACC on, I will get a lot of K band false alerts on the 9500ci so I keep it off. The Audi's are bad enough. The GMC SUVs also seem to emit K band so I get a lot of false K band alerts from the 9500ci but keeping the ACC off has helped enormously.

Anyway, good choice, hope you got a good deal.

Congrats!

9500ci is a good choice. I have the main display in my rearview mirror and the control module tucked away in the ashtray in the aft section of the console.

I also highly recommend a SharkWerks exhaust so the sound will match the fury!

Maxi Cosi with LATCH is really good. My 4-yr old sits back there 4 days a week.

That is a real beauty..great choice

I'd suggest the BEL Stir+ mated with the ALP quad..the BEL offers K band filtering. I have this system on my ML63 and also have the Merc distronic system with no issues..

Good info here http://radarandlaserforum.com/forum.php?

I just had the AL Priority and Bell STiR Plus custom installed on my 991TTS. I did two Sensor units front and rear. Here is a link to my earlier rennlist post with a video showing the install along with custom made wind deflectors: https://rennlist.com/forums/991-turb...her-stuff.html

Looks great.

Agree with the Bel STiR + ALP.

The Maxi Cosi booster is outstanding but you'll need a different one for a 27 mo old as he/she is probably not big enough yet for a booster. You are correct - the Recaro will never fit back there.
