I'm sorry - but I'm just not seeing what all the noise is with respect to "painted reflectors". Not even sure why anyone even thought about painting them. I don't even notice my unpainted reflectors - let alone think that they look "bad". And, I don't notice a car that has painted reflectors. I guess I'm just not on the same wavelength with the rest on this issue.
Removing fenders to install them? Wow.
Anyway -- Nothing against them. Just not resonating with me.
Love my TTS though!

People spend all sorts of money modifying their cars to be unique when they are new, and then spent all sorts of money making them original when they become classics...
I double chuckle at myself because I spent a bunch of time seeking out a car "By Porsche Exclusive". Why? To be different and have something special.

This is the greatest part of the car world! We are all entitled to our opinions and ideals. We are all free to choose to mod, or not to for that matter. The whole point on our end is to provide a service to those of us who chose to change things up a bit, and add our own sliver of individuality to the cars we love

On the practical side... Some have asked if they have to take the bumper off to install them? No! With a couple of flat trim tools I was able to pop my reflectors out without any damage and these could be pushed right in and removed at any time in the future.
Cool stuff indeed!

Is there a reflective element in the tail light housing? If not, wouldn’t this mod be removing the red reflectors from the rear of the car? I have clear tail lights and I don’t think there’s any red reflective material inside them.

This is correct. Many of us prefer the aesthetic however

I suppose that it’s not really a big deal if you don’t park your car on the street after dark.
