Your friend and LEO's

Sorry about your friend and nice post.

Next, did the CHP stop the Explorer? I am guessing no. We have to be very careful because the law is not always blind when it comes to Porsche's. Good that the ticket was dismissed, but fact is that LEO's have to do their jobs. Drive fast on the track, but not on public roads no matter how easy it is to go fast in a turbo of for that matter in most Porsche's.

What makes Swisstrex better?

Tiles are thicker so they don't bow in the heat when they expand, also SwisTrax won't expand so you don't have to leave a large gap for expansion. The bottom also seems to be better and when you pull the cars in they do not shift ever so slightly again causing the floor to bow. The material is better so when you walk on them they are quiet and doesn't sound like you are wearing high heels. Spills of water and water drops don't seem to look as bad as the new floor is ribbed. the tiles are also larger 15.75 vs 12 inches so they seem to fit better. Lastly the way they connect is WAY better and easier to do (not that it is tough).

Hope that helps.

Good to know, I read a review on each and actually that publication liked the RaceDeck better, go figure!

I'm getting ready to buy the coin flex tiles from Rubber Flooring. I like the fact it's not a hard plastic and a bit of a cushion to your feet. Any research you did on this product by chance?

No sorry. I only check RD ans ST out. I went with RD as it was a few pennies cheaper. You know the saying....

I am very happy now. Night and day difference. Even my wife is happy. She wanted to kill me when I told her I was getting rid of our 8 month new flooring for a different kind. The day she pulled in and got out of her car, she was so happy and complimented on how much better it is.
