Why is it, the winner is Best Bang for your buck when obviously The Vette is leap and bounds better in it's interiot and fit and finish. GTR is just a well put together sports car that you can't take full advantage of the Launch Control!?
Why as a society must we put so much stock into the cheapest fastest performance per monetary unit?
And didn't realize the Nissan was such a PIG, about 3,869 pounds - and so fast; the double clutches really, really makes these cars fast. But you can be a Pig if you have 16 Cylinders, 4,004 pounds, and Four Turbos and 1000+ BHP.
Going off topic again, what was the original MSRP for the First year base priced GT-R. And now with the Nismo crap it cost more than a stripper 997.2 TT at base, when new(!) Et tu Brute?

Naahhhhh...the C7Z is just the preferred ride in that article. No question about bang for the buck and then some...
Personally, I wouldn't measure a car by how much bang for the buck you get, although the Vette forum guys would tell you that the C7Z is a better car than a 911 TTS...there's a thread there now on this very same thing...

Full Disclosure: I have never dated a stripper. But a good friend of mine spent 8 () of his college years dating strippers so I have some idea of what's involved...

Z06 is definitely the best $ for $, but heard recently when at the track that more than a few have blown engines running just HPDE's. More recent MT magazine comparison at Laguna Seca DQ'd the Z06 because it was not running at spec.

I'm a big fan of the Z06, I've had several and kept them all for a few years. But this overheating issue that is intermittently plaguing folks while they do track days is pretty substantial and problematic.
Only an extremely slim few of the owners of C7Z06s track their cars, but it appears that the whole community is now really interested in what GM is going to do (or not do) to resolve the issue. This problem isn't as catastrophic as the dropped valve problem that we all faced with the 06-09 Z's, but I can still imagine that it really dampens the ownership experience for a big portion of early buyers.

The Crystal Ace gets into port 11/11 -11/12 then a week to dealer (Beachwood Porsche Ohio) then a week in an enclosed car carrier to me (Miami). Of course, Thanksgiving has to be in the timeline....so I figure December 2nd at the latest and November 25th at the earliest...
