I have 6236 but I got it in late August with 3012. It has been in the shop for the last 5 weeks being repaired due to running over some road debris. So I put 3000 miles on mine in about three months.

Glad to see these cars being driven!

I bought mine in March, 2014 and just rolled over 8K miles on my way home from a skiing weekend Sunday. The car has been to the mountains, the track, everywhere.

My 2010 997.2 TT has 55k miles. It's a daily driver and I haven't had any issues. Still love it as much as the first day.

There was debris spread all the way across US290 and I was in the left lane doing around 70-75, a little over the limit which was 70. The left lane had what looked like siding with nails sticking up at 4 inch intervals, it would have destroyed all four tires so I switched to the right lane which had some kind of load bearing column about 4x6 but no nails. I ran over that at around 70 or maybe less I didn't get to brake too much and I couldn't hit the shoulder at that speed.

Here are some pics of the damage. Now I am supposed to get it back tomorrow, they had trouble aligning the headers.

They had to order 189 parts. The frunk hd to be replaced, $10,000 for that. A turbo was mashed, $5,000 for that, the ACC was displaced and while it functioned, the thing that holds it in place was broken and so hey replaced it entirely, $2300 and of course the whole ****ing ridiculous front lip with pump assembly was about $6700. Total is right at $29,000.

So sorry to hear

First you are alive and that is impressive enough

I just ran over a small curb coming out a parking lot in my 1 week old tts
Just scraped the underside

No damage

Hearing your story is reassuring these cars can and will handle anything

Damage is damage
Life is more important!

Yeah, I am OK and that is good but you really have to be careful going over things like speed bumps or out of parking lots with dips because the car has such minimal clearance. Just looking at the car from the top view it didn't appear there was much wrong other than the front lip. I am still waiting to get the car back, they had to send it to the dealer to drain the cooling system and refill it, supposedly that's the last thing. They told me there are 9 valves that have to open in order to drain the coolant and that they have to put it on a computer to do it so they towed the car over there and it's still there. I keep getting emails that give me a new estimated time for my car, the next day, then the next. It was supposed to be ready this afternoon an hour ago, looks like they missed that deadline too. I am really missing the car at this point.
