Default Phoenix Car Auctions Jan ?????

I know this is not specifically a TT question, but given the recent declaration that TT drivers are a more "sophisticated breed versus GT-3 drivers". ...that's suppose to be funny, there is another link if you want to serious comment on that debate.

This seems to be the propper group to ask the question....of the car auctions held in Phoenix/Scottsdale in January, which is the best in your opinion for a casual observer, not an active buyer;

Gooding & Company, RM Auctions, or Barrett-Jackson....or in the alternative of those auctions, the Arizona Concours D'elegance at the Biltmore (also the location for the RM Auction).

I am planning on a trip to the Southwest, and want to take in an auction or the Concours D'elegance for an afternoon.

Which is the best choice?

Thx.

Look at the catalogs of the respective auctions and determine yourself what you might find interesting to watch for a couple of hours.

Barrett-Jackson is a good time, best for the casual looker.

This is a good one page overview.

Here's auction guide:

I would take in both the auctions and concours. If haven't been B-J is a hoot with their marketing. RM, Gooding, Bonhams have the most serious classic cars, in my opinion. Rosso Steele is fun too.

Specific questions, let us know.
