Default Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 on TTS

I just installed the 991 GT3 tires, Michelin PS Cup 2, on my 2014 TTS. The difference is huge, and you can still easily feel it on road, just can't wait to see what it's gonna be on the track.

Great upgrade for the track. Would you also consider anti-sway bars (inexpensive) to combat roll?

Not sure what the difference is between the 'Cup' and Cup 2' tires?

And how are the Cup 2 tires for daily driving in terms of noise, ride comfort?)

All TTS's have PDCC, an active anti-roll system that in my 1800 mile experience minimizes roll significantly. Thanks for the comment on the Michelin PS Cup 2's.

Did your OE Pirelli's tires wear out already?

I'd be curious to see how long Cup 2 tires last street driven.

I haven't tried the Cup 1, a buddy told me that Cup 2 is less predictable than Cup, but I am not sure...

It's superb for daily driving, I feel it's a bit less noisy than the OE tires. I am pretty sure it's as comfortable as the OE tire.

the front ones still like new, the rear ones are almost worn, but I just can't wait to try the Cup 2 tires, especially the winter is coming soon here. This Cup 2 tires are rated 180, the old Cup was 80. I have no idea how they can make it so high without scarifying performance on the track. Even the OE P Zero is only 220, so if 180 is true, this Cup 2 is really a bargain.

Good to know, I had ordered Mich Supersports to replace the P Zeroes, but as they as backordered on the rears by over a month, I decided to just order the MPSC2 instead, as I have a couple track days left this season anyway. I'll be mounting them this week and giving road driving impressions after.

I have done 4 track days 2 at silverstone Gp circuit and 2 at brands hatch Indy circuit...in the dry the tyres are exceptional very very sticky at the fast silverstone track..however in the rain at brands hatch it was like driving on slicks very little traction exiting the bends but that was probably due to my inexperience of putting the power down progressively...my next outing at silverstone though on a damp greasy track the tyres behaved really well and I was getting very good traction, so I think they are not too bad in the damp, and I was probably a little gentler on the throttle as it's such a fast circuit....but in the dry the tyres are superb.. Easily carrying more speed than a few gt3 cars that were present on the track .. I would definetly recommend them..good wear also, still probably have another 4-5 track days left out of them..tyre pressures have to be monitored as they get very warm very quickly...I was running -6-8psi to achieve correct hot tyre pressure.

They make a great track tire.... on a second set of "track" wheels!!
As a general purpose street tire they are a poor choice IMO... usage on the street in rain and traffic can be dangerous.
OEM Pirelli or even Michelin PSS are much better suited.
