Just a quick question for those of you who track your car, do you have the dealer check out your car before you hit the track? If so, do they charge you?
I usually have a local independent do the tech inspection. PCA provides as you know, a list of private and dealer shops. It normally 1 hour labor.
Thanks Peter. My dealer was doing them for free but now with the 991 center locks they are charing $70 because they have to re-torque the wheels which they say is a two person job. It's interesting to me how they're not too interested in my losing hundreds of dollars on the track due to the blown hose but want to get their $70 for this.
Had mine on track twice so far without issues. My dealer said there is a recall on the turbo hose issue, but my vin does not apply. It is a late 2015...
