I'm paying cash. Cash is king. I've never had any debt and never will.

That's good. Then you should have no problem buying the car, and helping others in need.

Problem solved.

trackfan.... a bit short sighted. Does it fail to register to you that if you don't buy the car, you can help MORE? I guess not and that is a shame. I don't really want to be someone where that doesn't even register. But whatever.

I think you missed my point. Read my first post again. I said if you can buy the car cash, and not even notice the money is missing. If you could do that. You could also help others, because you'd have the wealth to do it.

If buying the car means you couldn't help others the way you want to. Then maybe buying the car is not the right move for you. It's your decision.

I also like to help others. I couldn't enjoy my toys if I didn't also spend more money helping those in need, than I do on myself. So, I do understand your struggle with this.

I like the Turbo S because it is understated in comparison to anything that provides this much performance (and hence, fun). I'm curious about the net worth of people that buy these things -- and of course that is an awkward question. I'm coming off an M3 (love that car -- and gonna keep it so I can row gears when I miss that feeling).

How do you guys justify this "toy"?

I don't. I could care less what anyone else thinks. Learned a long time ago , impressing others or having to answer to them is a waste of time and energy.
