Default Price increase for Turbo and Turbo S

I have a Turbo on order and notice a price increase, addition of a new package - premium package plus and optional red/black interior

Turbo price increase = $2,800
Turbo S price increase = $1,600

Does Porsche honor the existing orders?

Any comments,

It must be the 2015 model change. Basalt black is gone as well. Now there is jet black metallic. If you have a 2014 on order the old pricing should apply.

Good for Porsche, I was wondering how long they could stay in business charging those bargain basement prices!

I think that sucks. Porsche is not changing anything on the car, so why should they increase the price.

Whew! Glad I got my red/black interior before they charged for it!-lol! Actually was very surprised that they didn't since it also comes with deviated stitching on seats, doors, dash and mats.

I spoke to the dealer today and they think that the customer web site was updated with the 2015 options/pricing since most build slots have already been configured. I changed an existing dealer order today and the pricing/options list was still the prior config option.

Not only has the base price gone up from $148,300 to $151,100, the Reversing Camera, most likely the most popular option and previously part of the "Parking Assist package" @ $1,035 is now only available as a part of the "Premium Package Plus" @ $2,130 and delivery charges have also increased from $950 to $995 so the actual price to most buyers on the Turbo will have gone up almost $4,000.

I haven't actually followed the EUR vs USD closely since the introduction, but it could be changes in their relative values. Has the price increased in the German configurator? Or, it could be that the BOM has increased in price. Or, maybe it's just because they think they can.
