Some might say that once more than $150K is spent on a vehicle, it might be nice to offer contrast color thread at no charge. Just saying.

As long as customers are willing to pay for it, I would try to ask even more if it was my company

I own a high end audio company that offers state of the art breakthrough components. We have become known for not only the finest products but the highest value as well. We could easily charge more for our units but the company is based on fair mark up. I personally feel an obligation to those who support us by purchasing our products and I do not feel it is in anyone 's best interest to charge more than is necessary. I know Porsche feels differently but I am also aware that their policies of charging for options other car companies include as standard, has engendered a certain degree of resentment.

Luxury brands charge what they want. Porsche charges $655 for a rear view camera that is standard on a Honda. Ferrari charges $3,533 for rear camera and $3,212 for front camera.
