RennList Turbo discussion, the slowest turbo discussions on the net.
Sorry, y'all are my favorite Porsche folks on the Internet, no doubt.
But my only gripe is how slow the Turbo forums are here. I try to go to 6 Speed and a lesser extent Team Speed! I try to post and get serious and the 14 to 18 year old posting groups totally can turn an Intellectual post into quagmire so quickly. I dont play the victim but it does get on my nerves.
Just wish we had more life blood in this forum. Thats all. And I love all of you because we make up THE Porsche community online.

I suppose it's due to the fact that there are a few "options" when it comes to online forums... as such, the information is scattered amongst those. And since very few people have actually driven/seen a Turbo/S yet there isn't all that much to discuss, yet... :/

However, I have to say that the discussion here is quite mature (compared to others, Rennteam excluded).
I sometimes get the feeling that on some (other) car forums, there are maybe 10% Porsche owners and 90% Playstation owners discussing Porsche.
Sometimes a more quiet but accurate discussion is more helpful than one with 100 posts saying nothing.

There will be a lot more action once they start arriving in Dec.

I lost interest in it ever since I seen the photo of the rear and found out it only comes in automatic. It should have been a 991 C4S with turbos's. Would have been the best and lightest Turbo ever.

1. PDK is not automatic, it has an automatic mode.
2. PDK in in the 991 Turbo S shifts now faster than the F1 dual clutch system in the Ferrari 458 (which is already pretty fast).
3. AWS (all-wheel-steering) would not fit into the 4S body because of the turbo chargers and intercoolers (it fits only in the n/a GT3). This is why the 991 Turbo/S has a wider body than 4/S.
4. Steering-wise, you won't feel a difference between a 991 Turbo S and a C4S (if you would drive it blindfolded).
5. Due to the new AWD system (incl. PTM), AWS and a completely new chassis setup, the Turbo S feels more nimble than the 4S.
Bottom line is: I don't have a clue what you are talking about.

Yep. Germany.
Actually, there was(is?) a problem with my car.
It has been taken off the production line because a part is missing.
Now they are trying to get the missing part by tomorrow, so I can get the car in time. I love Porsche, they really put all their heart into it to get me the car in time.
