How long do TPMS sensors generally last in the 991.1 cars? Mine are 10+ years old and I’ve never changed them. They definitely last longer than the sensors in my 997.1.
I took the 911 out for a drive last night and it gave me a message that my front left tire was low. I manually checked all four tires and topped them off where necessary, but none of them were more than 1 lb. low.
While driving, I received an intermittent message that my front left tire was at 0 PSI. The tire display in the instrument cluster showed 30 PSI, even though the warning showed 0 PSI. Upon visual inspection, the tire was fine. I’m guessing that the sensor battery is on the way out.

Typical life quoted is 6-10 years depending upon how much you drive. Motion activates them which uses power. The less you drive, the longer they last. I think the TPMS scanners the larger tire shops use can read battery life.
I've got a pretty advanced reader but haven't looked to see if it includes battery health. Hmmmm.

I have an iCarSoft 3.0 unit. I think it might have access to some TPMS data, but I’m not sure if battery SOC is available. I’ll hook it up later and take a look.
