The most noticeable difference is in normal driving with sport and sport plus off. The car has more float over rough terrain and is much more comfortable. Its definitely worth adding.

Agree with this. Car feels more settled and less bouncy, even with Eibach lowering springs. I sometimes wake up thinking I just need to buy a full set of coilovers but then I remember the car rides just fine the way it is now.

Same for me. Car felt jittery before in normal - on rough roads and on the freeways here in So Cal. Much better now in normal. In fact last night went out for dinner with friends - had a few glasses of red wine, wife drives me home. Forgot to put back to normal - get on freeway and it feels harsh. Turn off sport -> better.

I really notice it going over speed bumps - night and day. Even my wife commented on it.

The above is a very good simple summary for a street driver. The difference in comfort in normal mode is significant, and you don't lose anything when it comes to handling capability.

An experienced, track-oriented person would also note that the DSC Sport does a better job of keeping the the chassis settled than OEM PASM, which can translate into faster lap times in the hands of a very talented driver.

What others said. More compliant in street mode.

Agreed that the car felt incredibly settled on track. Unfortunately I installed it before I put the car on track so I had no before and after experience to share there. I did however run a best lap time at the track I have been driving for over 20 years in some pretty incredibly quick audi's so that was a nice surprise!

Do you all use the stock setup that comes on the DSC? Did you modify anything, is it customizable?
So in sports and sport+, would I feel a difference in the canyons? I have the B16 Kit already installed, BTW.

Interesting question. I think with the adjustable B16 damptronic setup, you probably have a perfect street suspension out of the box. I installed the DSC to try a quick and easy adjustment to the OEM suspension and although it improved the comfort setting, I was left feeling the sport setting still needed help. I think the B16 would be what I would prefer for spirited driving. Maybe someone here has tried the B16 damptronic with DSC. I would love to hear their thoughts.

Since TPC Racing/DSC Sport is in my neighborhood, I've had the pleasure of spending some time with Mike Levitas, owner of TPC and creator of the DSC Sport controller. Mike won the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona in a Porsche, as well as many other wins over the years.

Mike developed the recommended DSC Sport controller set ups for all the controllers, as a result of his track testing in all models of Porsche, as well other makes. They all ship with his recommended settings, and I've never found reason to change a thing with his settings. He's forgotten more about chassis setups than most of us will ever know.

I was hearing things about the B16 Setup and called Bilstein in Poway. They told me that the kit was designed to work with the Factory set up and the
DSC will do nothing to enhance or change this kit. Matter of fact, they said that the kit would probably not match the DSC.

I will tell you that Post install, the car was much more planted in sports and sports+ mode while the normal mode felt much better on the street. Didn't "bounce"
like a boat thru bumpy sections. However, because so many people here are using the DSC, I thought I needed one too. Maybe thats how you guys feel after
installing the DSC. Through the canyons, my TTS is low and so squared off. Many have said my car almost has no body roll at all. Even going 60 through 25 posted
speed zones.

However, through malibu, Azusa, ACH and tujunga, I cannot keep up with the other GT3 RS that my group has, they like to go 8/9 out of 10 and that's un-nerving to me.

Yes, a 991.2 DSC Sport suspension controller is compatible with any PASM-equipped 991.2, regardless of model.
