991.2 Turbo: any experience with IPD plenum ?
My friend has a 991.2 Turbo with high flow cats, catback exhaust and tune. He is looking to add IPD plenum plus bmc filters.
Any idea of the achievable improvement? Some people said him around 45whp, sound a little to much to me without touching the tune…
Thanks for the help!

If he does the plenum he should do the Y pipe as well. As for a measurable difference in performance, its not a lot but just looking at the OEM parts next to the upgraded parts it has to help overall flow by a decent amount. On dragy before and after with same tune and also agency intercoolers times were consistently .1-.2 sec faster with these parts and BMC filter.

Slightly better flow especially with Y pipe too.

I run the IPD Plenum with the DO88 Ypipe. The IPD plenum is physically larger than the DO88 plenum, so I figured bigger is better albeit subject to the other restrictions along the intake tract. The DO88 Ypipe comes with bungs for meth already installed, so that's one less thing I had to do and it also mates perfectly with the carbon fiber intercooler pipes that came with the Champion intercoolers, so no shaving/cutting required either - win on both fronts.
