Default No Window Tint…?

Just took delivery of my TTS a few days ago and made an appointment at my local detail shop for ceramic coat and tint (it already has PPF).

However, over the last few days I have actually grown to like it without tint. Never before have I thought this about a car. With my car being white and the trim black, I would expect tinting to make it look even better, but now I am second guessing myself if I even want tint….?

Now that I have been paying more attention to it, I see quite a few online without tint….what’s the consensus?

I would like the tint to reject some of the heat from the black interior in summer and I also live in a small town, so the tint would also help me fly under the radar a little better.

My car is the same color and if it wasn't illegal to tint here, I would've done it It would definitely look better.

I found that with so much glass exposure in these cars, a legal tint on the front door windows really helped cut down on excessive sun intrusion.
I had the rear side windows and the rear window tinted one shade darker than legal as well.

Always Tint.

All Ads, print, or TV, show cars with heavy tint. It shows off the body lines better in my opinion.

I like the look and my eyes are sensitive to light so I would need it regardless.

With all the white I would consider black covers on the outside mirrors. Also black "Turbo S" lettering on the rear. I think white cars are really sharp with a few accents here & there. Good luck with your new ride!

As someone who also owns a white 991, I vote tint I think it works really well on this color, especially in conjunction with other black accents. Gives it that stormtrooper vibe. Of course it comes down to preference and what you like better... but maybe this photo will help you decide that.

Default No Tint

Well, I guess I will be the outlier.... I have dark tint on all my other vehicles but *not* this one. I have clear window film to reduce heat (especially in south Florida) but I don't want to lose any visibility and I think it looks nice with full transparency.

1). Lettering already done (ridiculous what Porsche charges to apply letters with a stencil).

2). Mirror braces done

Yeah I’ve gotta go with dark tint on a white car, it’s the contrast that really makes it pop.

fortunately mine was an AZ car and came with dark tint already installed and it matches well with the dark glass roof.

It looks great without the tint. Why not hold off on the tint and see how you learn to like it or not. You can easily get this done at any time if you decide that’s your preference.

This is the way! Looks incredible.

I'm in the no-tint camp. No shade to those posting their dark preferences here but I find dark tints to be passe and from a bygone era of blacked out gangster wannabe cars (90s, early 00s).

I just had my very dark tint removed and replaced with 70% clear. It's classier and you can see better. Dark tint unduly limits vision at night, doesn't seem smart or safe.

I wear sunglasses all the time, tint is a must.

I can appreciate people who dont like tint, but for me, dark tint rules.
