Looking for recommendations on the best spray can clear coat anyone here has used here to help protect carbon fiber parts.
About two years ago I skinned the triangles behind the mirrors on my 991tts without clear coating them. They lasted for while but over time the resin began to yellow and look like crap. I ordered new triangles and skinned them with plain weave (to match the inside carbon). I also used high quality resin. My question is, will clear coat stop yellowing?
Damn, Mother Nature did a number on that. Was this a wrap or real CF with a clear coat?
This was real carbon weave and cheap resin but no clear coat. Im attributing this much damage to the budget resin. I leave the car outside alot and this side gets morning sun.
The new ones I just did are marine quality resin and plain weave to match the interior carbon. Going to do my best to apply a few coats of clear coat.

I'm sure a good clear coat(s) is key to help protect the CF from the Sun's UV rays. Good luck this time!
have you considered wrapping in PPF? a little bit more expensive, but much better protection both from debris and sun.
haha crazy, I was just looking at Stealth PPF on their site. I will look into this as well. These are small pieces so I think I can manage to wrap these. I hope this is the last time I have to make these triangles haha.
