Several cars around here have had similar 'vehicle wrap' front plates long before the company above began producing them, though I do applaud them for their efforts in getting California to recognize and approve them...

Not sure if there is anything particularly special about the ones they are producing, but the ones I've seen are just high res scans or images of the stock plate printed out on custom print & cut vehicle wrap printers.

In Colorado, the only folks that will ever hassle you about no front plates are the parking ticket folks who will write you up in a second with a hefty $70 no front plate ticket if you park on a street that they enforce. I'd say it's about 50/50 if one of those will save you from a ticket. I've seen tickets given for front plates in windows (always), front plates too low, and even front plates not at the right height. I just don't park on public patrolled/metered streets... Private lots also don't give a whit.

^ yup, IME LEO in CO are so chill about no front plate, I stopped bothering with 'em even on my daily drivers long ago, let alone the sports cars.
