Has anyone had this alert thrown, Engine Fan Failure Avoid Full Load Driving permitted. I have a 2015 TTS with 10k miles.

Did you get your vehicle serviced lately? Try checking if the fan connector(s) may have been inadvertantly unclipped?

Takes 1-2 minutes to check.

The fan on the left side is exactly the same.

I was wondering how you got those off without destroying everything.

Handy, and, simple; pliers are not the right tool.

I just use my hands to pull everything. Soft hands like a hockey player.

Not a big deal, even without warranty. My wife could change one with not much more than her bare hands, if I were there telling her what to do. But the plug can be a little tight and resist coming apart. Assuming it is still plugged in.

I had one fail. Replaced under warranty sometime ago but no problem since. My car is also a 2015. Maybe a bad batch.

I get this thread may be out of date, but curious what you did in the end. I just started getting this warning, last few weeks. I noticed it is happening when I leave the car out in the sun for a while and then turn it on (in Miami - can't hide it from the sun when out and about.) However, I checked the fans and they are both running fine while the warning is up. And the car is staying well within temp. Maybe it's a sensor issue rather than the fan? Did you check your fans when the warning came up? I'm interested in knowing if you had obvious fan failure or just message, and if the latter how you resolved it? Thank you.

Coincidentally I started to get this message tonight. Also here in Miami. Certainly unrelated. I also intuitively checked the engine fans and both were working. What ended up being the issue for you and how did you resolve it? After reading a few more posts I checked out radiators also and found a bit of trash in there which I removed. Appreciate the response.

I ended up getting a new fan from Suncoast, all has been perfectly fine since. I did so because when I got the warning light again I went to the engine bay fan and noticed one was spinning slowly, I hit it and it went to full speed. I switched sides and then a few days later it happened again and it was the same fan I switched, so problem identified. I think before the failure became obvious it began having some sort of short which happened momentarily and that's why when I'd check the fans they both appeared to be operating fine but eventually the failure became more apparent.
