So nice.....
Thats one of my only issues with this platform is that when you "pop the hood" you cant see any of the engine or nice parts like you can with a regular front engine car....

Part 3 - Intercoolers and IC piping

After a ton of research and results I decided to go with the AMS intercooler! It is just head and shoulders above my old intercooler and others I have seen in the market in construction, core, and overall flow path.

Even the ducting is all cleared CF and well thought out on the AMS

Old Intercooler ducting unfinished carbon is what is seen from outside of the car. smaller ducting area.

When it came to the Y-pipe i went with the tried and proven IDP Y-pipe but made several modifications to be different and net some more HP out of it.
We added 2 Tial BOV to it to expel pressure when the throttle is closed.

We added 2 Methanol bungs

We smooth out the inside a bit and increase the internal diameter

Lastly we added Vibrant Vanjens to secure everything.
After this was all done I hand polished the pipe and sent it off to Anodizing to match my Bydesign Intake Manifold and Plenum.

Pretty sure that exhaust mod would get you arrested here in Vancouver...

This is my baseline dyno we are well north of that
Couple of things to note:
- we are seeing spool-up about 750-1000rpms sooner than with my previous kit and a lot smaller turbos. Just goes to show what an actual quality kit will do.
- the power never drops off up top, just keeps wanting more.
