Great pics G! Are both chalk. I like both the 991 and 992 series. The 991 is still timeless - defined by something that ages well or doesn't look dated with age. OR for me - I'd be happy with a 992 - but the 991 is still not spurring pangs of FOMO. When I had a 996 (non-Turbo 40th anniversary) - I definitely needed to get to the 997 (it was so much better - looks, performance, ride etc.). I don't have that angst with the 991.

The one with the sport design mirrors is better.

991 is a better flowing and refined design no matter which angle you look at........
The 992 is trying to hard and looks like the designer who did the front, did not do the back, etc......pieced together which adds to the busy nature of the design.........design by committee approval....
They also were too sensitive to feedback about the TTS being soft looking, performing, sounding........and went too aggressive and borrowed GT3 design cues.........the front looks too squared off, clunky with bumper treatment and the rear is just too busy........the 991 is this generation's 993 for 911 beauty.....
Looks like they are trying too hard to justify the escalated base prices of the TTS, as one is about $250K now with a medium selection of options.....

Thanks for the pics G.
I stopped at Starbucks the other night and was in my 991.2 TTS and there was a chalk 992 TTS parked a couple of cars over. It's a great looking car but I do prefer my 991.2 exterior styling.

While we are doing generation gaps, here is a 997.2 Turbo S next to my (new at the time) 991.1 Turbo S...
And a bit farther apart, my 996 Turbo and 991 Turbo S...
