Disabling for Good, Front Spoiler
Exactly!! You could replace the entire $7K system and still have it fail in a short time afterwards! I’m thinking the GT3 option is the best long term solution.
Already went through this. Most likely it’s the control unit in the frunk (already replaced mine), a possible hose that disconnected or a bladder tear.
easy to do with piwis, i set it to deploy at 250km/h and now it never deploys(unless i hit 150mph) while the rear spoiler still works normally. i also wanted the front spoiler to still still deploy in sport plus (which you can turn off as well with piwis) but i left that setting on.
you can also just turn the warning off in the instrument cluster coding using a Piwis as well, if thats whats annoying you

I’ve had the unit out twice hoping to find something. The system is intact with no leaks or disconnections. I am contemplating replacing the pressure sensor but it’s not available separately anymore. You have to purchase the entire unit for $1500 or something.

It depends if you get it with a laptop or not but you need the software on a laptop and the VCI that plugs into the cars OBD2. I just got an old Hp laptop (must have 1920x1080 resolution) and purchased the VCI and a SSD drive with the software on it. It’s super cheap for the capabilities, and since I have a cayenne and 911 it’s been an invaluable tool. Link below:

nope just 1 slot, you remove the laptops original hard drive, and replace it with the one they send you (the only ones i've ever seen are SSD SATA drives, ive never seen NVMe or M.2 so you need a laptop with SATA port). The hard drive has windows 10 on it and the PIWIS software installed on it. It boots right up, and after you get it booted, they will RDP in and activate windows/and get it all setup for you. Your laptop should be perfect.

please can you help me out too. I’m not sophisticated with the technical side and the dealership wants $10k.
look g for idiot proof support on how to get the front spoiler codes out in the Porsche Integrated Workshop Information System.
thank you so much.
