The right choice!
I took delivery on a C8 Z51 convertible earlier this year. It was an 18 month wait. About 12 months into that wait, further delays on the C8 had me looking around for other options, and I picked up a fantastic 991 Turbo S to go with my 996 Turbo. When the C8 was finally ready, I still took it, but I knew It had mighty big shoes to fill to consider displacing either of the 911's from limited garage spaces.
Suffice to say it wan't close. Sold it to a broker (big premium made it an even easier decision) and not once have I wished i still had it. Decent enough car, but just didn't hold a candle to the Turbos. It was a pretty color though!

I bought the Porsche on impulse. I have no regrets and very glad I bought it. I still have a fondness in my heart for Corvettes, but it has now taken a backseat to the 991.2 Turbo. My Corvette is now driven mostly by my wife. LOL
Yes, "The right choice."
