I would like to see that same drag against a tuned 991.2 TTS. The delta seems to be about $50,000 to get a low mileage 991.2 TTS with exhaust and tune it vs a new 992 TTS. (...and that is if you can even get a new 992 TTS). Some 992 TTSs are starting to show up on the used market + $20,000-40,000 over MSRP! Ridiculous.

Not sure where he found a 10.8 second 991.2

992 should be a solid 10.1 ride even though 2 folks just posted 10.3’s at seal level in Florida.

991.2 is a solid 10.4 car as posted here by multiple members.

0.30 is not enough, enough.

Killer ride, but I’m waiting on the 992.2

Yeah, those launches were botched in favor of the 992, love the guy but this is the first video I felt he was brown nosing to car manufacturer....

Even the braking test seemed weird, the 991.2 was stopping shorter then suddenly it didn't lol...

Yup, 10.8 corresponds with 991.2 Turbo (non-S).

I would think you could get 10.5-10.6 with a std 991.2 TTS, stock.

I mean, I've run 10.6s and a 10.5 with my 991.2 stock and at nearly 135mph for a lot of those runs.

Nothing special, no prep, and my best run ever was on 91 octane fuel.

10.4? Heck yeah, if I cared about tire pressures and the track was prepped I have no doubt my car would do that. None at all. That said now that I have a real tune in my car I have a boost pressure leak, so I guess that's next on my agenda, LOL

What happened to the leather headrest on the 992 in the video ? It looks punched.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Like some of the padding was left out. I also didn't like the RED ring on the 992's tach.

My best run was on the street with Pzeros fully inflated not comfort. I thought I would be faster on the track with PS4 and lower tire pressure, but no. I understand there are a lot of factors in the weather that vary and are uncontrollable. Just saying.

Thanks for sharing. The 992 exterior is growing on me. Not a fair comparo, but the 992’s hips & front fender lip definitely look wider (they are) on the lighter color 992.
I still loathe the round tail pipes & loathe the interior of the 992.
Not trading in my 991.2 anytime soon...
cheers/B

It's the extra torque! Not hard to guess this outcome from the 991.3 TTS.

What was the trap? Can you post a dragy screenshot? What do you consider FBO? Headers, exhaust, ICs, y-pipe, plenum, and inlets?
My best unprepped street pass in my 991.1 is 10.45 @ 133.99. I have AMS ICs, BMC filter, Fabspeed headers and catless exhaust, IPD y-pipe and plenum.
