Does the car pass emissions as it sits?
Just curious because I'd love to see something like the Motec paired with the factory setup to allow big power while meeting emissions parameters.
I know it is unlikely but just wondering about the details of your setup.

I know what you mean by this, however the factory ECU would get so pissed off that there would be a lot of work in "tricking" it into no knowing the piggy back Motec was there. There would also never be a way to control everything we want due to the stock ECU simply having limited capabilities. UGR on their Lambo / R8 stuff does some piggy back Motec solutions that seem to work well but there are a lot of work arounds that make it very difficult on the Porsche. Technically a Motec equipped Porsche could very easily be fully emissions compliant and in that case should pass your local test without issue.

Just in case any of you are interested we did start a series on the 991 Motec on our YouTube channel. So far there are three "episodes". We will be posting a new one every other week with explanations and content. Feel free to subscribe Links below to the three videos

I agree...technically, the car could absolutely be tuned to operate very efficiently and within federal emissions levels.
The problem is the fed would never allow it.
Wishful thinking but I'll keep wishing!
