Matching tyres is something I enjoy doing.

According to my window sticker, the 991.2 TTS center lock wheels are 11.5” wide in the rear?

Sorry, my mistake, I was thinking about the winter wheels, you are correct on width.

No worries! I’m hanging on by my finger nails in this forum and struggling with the learning curve.

At the risk of hijacking this thread, do people with 991’s ever go crazy and put on 12.5” or 13” wide wheels with 335’s out back? I tried to search that but couldn’t find a thread about 991 turbo owners doing that. I just might be crazy enough to do that for a street set up.

OE 245/35-20 305/30-20 MPS4S
VS. 265/30-20 325/25-20 MPS4S

To me, this alternative doesn't look like a desirable setup. Dropping too much diameter, especially in the rear.

It actually looks pretty good by filling out the wheel wells.

There is a pic of it (somewhere) on Randy's 991 Track thread, here:

i have 12.5 inch wide rear wheels and would put a set of 345’s on the back IF I could find a set of front and back in a tire I like that have close enough matching rolling diameters...but alas, right now no such combo exists in a 20 inch wheel

So, for a 5 lug Turbo S 20" wheels , which are 8,5 front and 11 in the back, lowered with Techart springs, i could use 255/35/20 and 315/30/20 ?
Thinking of R888R.

Just ordered 265/30x20 and 325/25x20 from Costco. They have a sale of $150 off when ordering 4 tires. I have 9x20 and 12x20 wheels.

265/325 on OEM sized wheels works great. They looked great on a lowered car, and they were far faster on track than OEM sized tires. That's all I cared about. Also, Porsche used different sized wheels in different years for the 991.2, so double check exactly what came with your car. (I'm sure of this, but the specific details are hard to find now, and I forgot what changed)

Thanks Randy, appreciate you chiming in... I thought that's what you had been running. Did you have any minor rubbing at lock?

And, perhaps, you have that pic handy of the side view, and lowered...?
