Default New exhaust vs Baseline Dyno

Ok... got my new exhaust a couple days ago... I’m going to do as I said I’d do and baseline this car, then dyno post exhaust install. I ordered new wheels and tires too. Hopefully it’s 60-130mph will improve as well. Will update this thread as it progresses. Still considering a time as well, but one step at a time.

With a stock tune I would guess an exhaust change is a sound mod. That’s the only reason I installed the Kline and 100 cell cats on my stock tune since the boost targets will remain the same.

With a tune, less back pressure is very helpful to EGT.

Will be interesting to see if you get any power gains.

Europipe stage 1 with 100 cell cats. Plan is to baseline the car bone stock, then install exhaust, re dyno then maaaaaaaybe a stage two tune. Haven’t decided yet. I’ll post results as I get them at each stage of parts install to show the differences on each mod.

I agree... on my GT3 I had, I installed exhaust strictly for sound (zero performance gain) on this car I want to test each part I install to see how much, if any power is added along the way. Will be interesting I think.

Springs showed up today too. Hopefully wheels and tires will be here Friday. Getting all installed this weekend and off to the dyno post parts install.

Thanks... I’ll update as I get info on each mod and it’s performance gain... or no gain if it doesn’t make power. If nothing else, it’ll at least sound better than stock, and to me that’s worth something.

I've done the DSC and PDK tune so far, so installing my EP1 is next and then a UMW tune after. To me, the next step after this is the big one with IC's and turbos. I'm hoping my crack addiction is satiated with the tune and exhaust for a bit!

Man I can appreciate that!!! It’s a slippery slope modding cars... I’ve gone too far too many times and scrapped the platform and started over. I hope I’m old enough now to enjoy a mildly modded DRIVABLE car. Can’t always be the fastest.

Ditto. That's why I left the car stock except for wheels and Kline catless exhaust. Want to keep the ride comfort with stock suspension (although I fight the urge to lower it every few days). Car is fast enough for me in stock form.
