Default JackPoint Jack Stands

Old news, but the first time I have used them. Awesome tool !

on a side note, it took 600ftlbs of breaking force (me) to loosen a 442ftlb center nut. 36” breaker bar needed as a minimum!

Sounds about right - my torque wrench is 48" long and I have no problem moving the car/steering cracking that nut unless there is someone in the drivers holding the wheel and brakes.

Nice, I really want 4 of those stands.

Also, this is why I'm glad my Turbo S came with a 5 lug setup!

Jackpoint stands are great, but I've moved to a QuickJack and it's dramatically easier and faster to get the whole car off the ground. Highly recommended.

Same here, that was the most important thing for me.

Quick test today even though it was 43F outside and not really a summer tire testing temperature . The Pirelli N1's in 43F would 60ft from a best of 1.74 to a worst of 1.82 seconds. The Michelin 4S went a worst of 1.71 to a best of 1.65, a full 0.10 improvement in the 60ft in cold temps. Plus the Michelin's are brand new and need some seasoning . 0.10 improvement is massive. Hopefully that delta holds on a 70F day.

From my Dragy Logs, at 63F the Pirelli picks up grip and the 60ft drops to a 1.65 second pass. Hopefully. the Michelin will go 1.58ish.
