Default Centerlock nuts...

I was just wondering (because I couldn't really find anything with Google) if anyone knows where I could buy a center-lock nut that is not anodized, or even better, made out of titanium?

The 'wear' on the anodizing is looking pretty shabby, so as Jesus' day approaches, I am thinking it, along with side skirts and intakes, will make a nice prezzie.

As an aside, is there an actual nut remover that is metal? I was looking at the K-Line tools one that said it was forged, but was only rated to 369ft/lbs - which I thought odd as the TTs requires 443ft/lbs to secure the nut; images of exploding tools ran through my head...

Cheers,

Not sure about the center-lock nut question but as for a TQ wrench, this is what I’m considering.

200-600 Ft/Lbs

Precision Instruments CD4D600F

Amazon Amazon

EDIT, I think you mean that actual center lock removal nut like this.

I paid 700 for a like minded Jet, so very good price on the TW.

Correct on the nut driver... a metal one is important...

I’ve got the Precision Instruments torque wrench and it works well. Make sure to get the combo that comes with a breaker bar for removing center lock nuts.

You might also look at Hazet torque wrenches.
