Fair price?

Fair price?
I'm in the works with a dealer for a 2014 Turbo S with 32k miles. Overall decent condition with the exception of needing tires and there's a chip in the inflatable front lip. They've agreed to 98k, about 103.5k out the door after tax title and license, any thoughts on price considering the imperfect parts of the car?

Keep pushing as it is getting near the end of the month for quotas, etc.....I have walked out one week after a firm no and then the next week, they give me everything I ask for including a Porsche air gauge and hat!

Good idea, considering I'm a cash buyer and have the check in hand. This isn't a Porsche dealer, which is why I'm unsure how flexible they are

FYI Being a cash buyer will most likely reduce their willingness to negotiate. The extra half point, point or two they make on financing is a big part of every dealer’s margin. Fella dealer you’re a cash buyer and you’ll lose your leverage. I always tell them I’m financing until I’m not financing (or unless they toss me a 1-3% rate (free money).

Keep pushing for new tires (Michelin Pilot Sport 4S only!) and the front lip repair, but at the end of the discussion, that's a very fair price for that car. Middle ground might be 97k as is, but I don't think it's worth pushing further than that if you like the car. Then you can put your own tires on it, and always put new OEM floor mats in a new purchase.

Thanks for the input everyone! Do any of you have recommendations on an indy shop for a PPI in the DFW area? Porsche of Grapevine said they no longer perform PPIs due to liability reasons

I'd use the dealer of choice in DFW, and be sure they really examine the PCCB rotors. They should be completely removed and visually inspected for surface defects on BOTH sides, and I'm less concerned about what the carboteq machine says about them. If those rotors have blemishes, the rotors are $6500 EACH to replace, changing the nature of the purchase entirely. It will cost extra to have this work done, but the downside is huge if you have bad rotors.

If not tracked, the rotors will last more than 100k miles (the pads less, but they are not as big a deal). No way to tell if the rotors are damaged except to pull them and look at them front and back.

A lot of good info in this thread. Keep pushing for tires (Cup 2's or Pilot Sport 4S only) and front lip. For your negotiating advantage, finance with dealer so they get the 2% reserve from financing and payoff your loan after 3 months so they don't get charged back. You won't pay much in interest. But if worst comes to worst and they don't budge, that's still an awesome deal. You can now purchase a replacement front lip rather than the entire assembly.
