OMG! The turbo of my dreams!!
It’s a 2016 lava orange turbo, silver turbo s wheels, steel brakes, sport chrono, sunroof in black, burmeister, 14 ways, and some others
carfax looks great
they’ll certify it
original sticker was $175k, they’ll give it to me at $97k certified.
it’s got 58k miles (but it really looks like new, even the steering wheel looks really good)
they showed me the wholesale recent auctions prices ($93 to $97 with no cert), (-$25k for miles)
The keys were with a stack of keys to be sent to auction in the morning.
i put a refundable deposit to close tomorrow.
i feel like the 58k miles isn’t a problem if they’re willing to certify it.
they say i can easily get $75k for it in 2 years with 80k miles on it. I kinda believe that.
i’m not going to pass on it because it will lose value, that’s obvious, but i’m curious where this car levels off with average miles.
also any other thoughts would be appreciated.
thanks!

If its your dream car and the price is fair just buy it and worry about the rest later. No way to know value in 2yrs. What are 2014s with 70k+ miles going for? Thats probably your best indicator.

Careful with 14-way seats if you've never tried them.
Highly recommend a longer drive if at all possible, since it wasn't obvious to me w/ short test drives.
Easily the worst Porsche seat for me. No padding in one area where my shoulder blades were.
Caused me to get rid of a new GTS i spec'd last year.

Love lava ... looks like a fair price certified. You'll get a range of advice on the mileage but that wouldn't trouble me if well maintained. The comment on the seats should be considered but I have no personal experience. Good luck.
