Most accurate performance device
Hello all,
Of the following 3 devices, which do you consider to be the most accurate one for 0-60 and 1/4 mile testing: Cobb AccessPort, VBox or Dragy. I have all 3, and none of them seem to give me a real result. I admit to being a novice in this area, and have no place to try launches with launch control, but yesterday I did several runs from idle (with my stage 2 2017 991.2 cabriolet, and dragy told me 4.71 seconds! Seat of the pants says it had to be in the low 3s! Looking forward to your feedback. Thanks.

Vbox Sport. is the only 20Hz GPS of the three (assuming yours is the Sport version).
Draggy is 10Hz and the Cobb I've never even used it for measuring as its definitely not GPS based.
I do own both, Vbox Sport and Draggy and they are BOTH very accurate. I can't imagine how yours will not give you accurate results. Try the Draggy one with video and post it, I assume yours is a TTS Cabrio corrrect?

There are several YouTubers, including dragimes Brooks, Who have done comparisons between the dragy and the Vbox. According to them they are extremely accurate to approximately 1/100 of a second. You should be in the low threes or upper twos for 0 to 60 runs. Why don’t you go out and try it again.
This is what I usually get in my 991.1 tts.

I own both. Have tested them against each other plus a NHRA Track. They are equal.

For the price Dragy is a no brainer, we've already sold thousands of them

Yup! The owner of Dragy was one of our main BMS distributor in China. He came directly to us at first and we did a lot of testing for them.
We had first rights on the Dragy system, it's a great tool and we work with them on features and improvements.
That's why you see our BMS/JB4 logo in the intro

I have to say, it is great that the product works so well. In this day and age so many techie things come out that are just not ready for prime time. Companies release them and they do not work as promised. This product is clearly an exception to the rule.
Highly recommended.

0-60 from idle? Yep, upper 4's could be possible doing it that way. Why do you launch from idle instead of using launch control or just informally holding brake and throttle then lifting brake?
