@TeesTurboS Did you have to do any prep work to paint them? Were you able to DIY or take it to a body shop?

Thanks -

I just ordered them from getporscheparts.com (they're the parts outfit for Porsche Silver Spring in Silver Spring,MD) for $340. There's no indication that they're backordered (for now).
This is a clean and easy mod so I'm looking forward to it. Especially if it helps reduce some road rash.

Yes, some scuffing with a fine (gray ) scotch pad. Then a coat of adhesion assist primer on the plastic. Also will need to do two coats of black paint to get the smooth look prior to wet sanding, then clear.

Dang. I want these now. I’d want them even more in carbon fiber.

Lol. They would get so destroyed in carbon. Anyway, this type of plastic can not be wrapped as far as I know. Maybe if it was sanded and smooth.

The skirts on my 2009 ZR1 are CF...I did have them wrapped (with the rest of the car) and they are surviving quite well...although she is a garage queen of sorts

My favorite ZR1. GM kept the weight down, used a properly sized blower and the ECM is easily programmed.

If anyone wants to know.
I just ordered these from getporscheparts.com
It came to $305 delivered.
They had a promo code BOOM to get an extra 5%.
They seem to be located in Maryland so shouldn’t be to long to get them in NJ.
