Default RS Side Skirts on a 991.2 Turbo Cab.....

So I’m ordering these RS Side Skirts for my car, has anyone done this before? I like the look of them on the RS cars and clearly I think the road rash would lessen, thoughts?

I have them on my 2015 TTS. Agree on the reduction of road rash.

I've seen these on TT coupes but never a cab. Post pictures when done! Would be interested in seeing how they look with the top down.

Will do! Plan on getting the car back next week along with the skirts. Will post pictures of before and after. Apparently the skirts were on back order and just released today.

I did them myself on my .1 TTS. There is a great video on you tube I followed from a fellow TT owner Cam Hughes. Very simple removal and install. Less than an hour.

My understanding is just the black plastic. Obviously you could get them painted yourself or maybe even wrapped.

Correct, only have seen them in black but I have seen some guys paint them gloss black so they should be able to be painted to color.

So I got the car back last night and decided to swap the OEM Standard Skirts for the OEM RS Skirts. Here is the results.....
absolutely love the look and the stance!!!

Any concern about getting the side skirts chipped after they are painted? By the way it does look very good.
