Default how to access the engine?

Ok, here is my seriously noobie question....
how exactly do you access the engine to see the intake, or the plugs, or whatever?
removing the bumper cant be the only to access it, I mean i can access the oil and fluids when i pull the lever inside.... but that is covered with plastic piece .... so i cant even see the engine
help
thanks

To actually "see" the engine, removing rear bumper or access from below are the only options I believe.
On the other hand, Oil change is simple procedure by removing the right fan, to access the oil filter.

What exactly are you looking to access?
Removing the bump isn't hard once you do it once or twice but it is annoying.

I have a "new toy" that I need to install. It is suppose to be super easy... but it involves plugging into the MAP sensors
So of course, I need access to that.... and maybe access to the firewall to route a cable inside
Any help would be great

Yes, it shouldn't be impossible but the only thing I find difficult is routing any cable inside the cabin through the firewall, I haven't been that far back into the engine. If you do the sound symposer mod, which is easy, you can route the cable through there.

I would use either or these instruction pdfs to reach the manifold pressure sensor. These are tutorials to install a y-pipe and/or plenum:
https://www.do88.se/bilder/artiklar/pdf/TR-210-991.pdf
https://www.do88.se/bilder/artiklar/...00SV-OEM-1.pdf

Ofcourse, only apply the steps you need.

I agree. It depends on what you need.

Basically the first couple pages is exactly it LOL. The only difference is our CANBUS wire that we route up.
That's what's taking me so long to finish up the guide.
