So, I actually did something to my Turbo today: washed it.
Now I realize that I need either red front side markers or orange front calipers.

You're a smart man no doubt (especially after your strut tower tutorial).
I took out the wifey's new R8 RWD yesterday (under 68kms on the clock) and once break in is done will post observations.
The attention vs the turbo in the few hours I had her out will take some getting used to.
