Is it just the plastic accordion piece that broke or the aluminum manifold itself. If is the former I would say just replace the coupling or the unit with something more robust like the D088 silicone hose. Although this should not happen, plastic can develop cracks from age and exposure to certain chemicals.

Seems that just the plastic accordion piece broke, my car has like 12.000 miles and is a 2018 model... age and mileage shouldnt be a problem. Chemicals exposure - I have never injected meth or anything else... that is why it seems so weird to me.. I remember the 997tt similar problems with the intake manifolds, they were cracking under boost, some sooner, some later, but few lasted and never had any problems

May be just a factory defect in the piece. I would have a dealer document it and replace under warranty if it was me.

I wouldn't think it is tune related, most likely a defective part. Many cars running stage 3+ on stock everything..

Looks like a factory defect, see if the dealer will warranty it.

Go with an aluminum Y pipe and never look back or have to worry again IMO.

If others are running stage3+ and not having problems, then I should be safe.. thanks!
I just did 144 quarter mile and 175 half mile on a 88 degree day nearly 4,000 feet DA through the stock Y pipe so I don't think the stock Y is hindering performance on a stage 2/3 car. The inlets look like they could be a restriction however I did a 144 quarter mile and 174 half mile on a completely stock intake system (stock inlets stock Y and stock plenum).

Wait till ours is out, full intake system all the way to the inlet of the turbo as well as our Y pipe

Yep, I'm suspicious about Y pipe upgrades on these cars. I would have gone back with OEM under warranty, too. Did your dealer cover it?

Should be out by the end of this month!
