Why does the 2019 TTS ship with Pirelli vs Michelins I see on all the other cars in the showroom? I assume the suggestions in this thread are regardless if they are Pirelli or Mich?

It's the Luck of the Draw. They ship with either. I lost the tire lottery and received Pirelli. Although I must say they are performing better than expected for Pirelli. They are N1 so an upgrade from the N0 in the past. A 1.58 sixty ft , 10.4 1/4mile at 131mph isn't shabby on the street with zero prep. They are also quiet on a 75mph cruise. Michelin will be bought when these wear out....but they are not horrible.

Thanks that is the best response I have heard as the dealer had no clue why my new car came with Pirelli

My 2019 was 42 52 hot. I'm now 38 41 hot. Much better grip ! Pirelli also.

That's what the dealers do - they set pressures to max winter tire, max load. Change to summer tires, then follow those suggested setting in the Porsche display. I run 33 front, 36 rear and the ride is immeasurably better.

The last service center I used would set the car to the full load 37F 47R each time and the ride was terrible. I recently got my car back from a new service center at 36F 40R, much better ride. Sounds I need to try lowering it even further.

Dropped to TPMS 35/37 cold. 38/41 hot. Solid 1.58 sixty ft.
Thanks for the info!

I continue to run 31 front x 35 rear cold temps on a TTS with 305 rears.
If you run 37/38 cold you will be in the 40's after a good warm up run.

I am running 33/36 cold. Maybe I will try 31/35 as Penn4s has recommended.
