Update on the car - new parts that just came in from the UK.
Here is the 1st set in the USA (prototype set) from my friends at Eventuri Intakes.
Beautiful piece of engineering which will look good, and will hopefully perform well as well! (I have no doubt, my friends make some awesome intakes!)
The way these intakes look, I might just have to run with no rear bumper!
New Carbon Fiber Intake for 991 Turbo / TurboS - fits both 991.1 & 991.2 systems

Wheels were delivered today - Yokohama should really update their stock photos across all of their sales channels - no way do they do justice to the actual wheels. these things are drool worthy!
I can't wait to get these on the car!

"20x9 +49 front and 20x11.5 +55 Rear which are pretty much same with your OEs".
How did you determine the size you purchased and which offers more (better) offset ?

2 Function - I need the widest tires / wheels possible that I can fit on the car (w/o rubbing of course) for 1/2 mile racing at the speeds we're attempting to go (high 190s / possibly 200 mph). I wanted to go 21 inch, but Toyo only makes the R888R in 20's. Although 21's would look epic on the car, 20's is the best choice to hook the power / get the traction I need... Toyo R888R + 20 inch wheels with 12 inch width is the way to go if you're trying to do what we're doing. Also, others I have talked to who do road racing also have 12 inch rear tires.
Others on the forums might be able to chime in on their wheel sizes / offsets for their aftermarket wheels.

I agree with your comments...so your sheel size will bring the outside face of the wheel closer to the outside fender plane ?...I prefer that !
Any pics mounted yet ?

With that being said, you don’t want to go wide up front for a half mile target, you’re increasing rolling resistance and aero drag somewhat.

Thank you to Scott @Antigravity batteries for jumping on board to support our project car.
Both Sam at EvoMS and myself were super impressed with the weight savings and construction of the battery.
Stock battery is 59lb.
Antigravity is 16.4lb. (42.6lb / 72% lighter than OEM)
- Also comes with wireless fobs to turn it on if it shuts itself off due to low voltage.
We received their H6/Group 48 car battery with 40ah
- We decided on the 40ah, even though it's slightly heavier than the other choices available, because of our particular demand we have for the battery on this car is to have enough reserve to allow us to make changes to the ECU while the engine is off. In order to review datalogs and make tuning changes, the car sits with the ignition on while plugged into a laptop for 5-10min at a time. During this time the whole car is powered including the fuel pumps and occasionally cooling fans running drawing quite a bit of power (20-40a) on top of all the other normal loads the car has (HVAC, dash, radio, etc.).
Here is a link to purchase (jump on it now) limited availability - https://shop.antigravitybatteries.co...tive/ag-h6-rs/
