Yeah...I wonder about that since I will still plan on keeping my Huracan. The Huracan does have more of a visceral feeling then any car I have ever owned including my 991 GT3 however, with the tune and fabspeed upgrades the Turbo does seem to capture a nice balance for the a DD that the Huracan could never be and still provide equal if not better performance.
On a side note, I did get a PPI done today and the car checked out good except the tech found evidence of paintwork....going to meter the paint again since I did not see it the first time I metered. Also tracked down the previous owner who I trust and he was not aware of any either. So if anyone has thoughts on this it would be appreciated.
And JP884....I do love the car!

They are however, worlds apart but perfect complements. I love the TT. Its a perfect DD. Not sure why i didnt consider one sooner. Its civilized and sporty at the same time.
Right now i am not considering mods as its quick enough. But may at some point

A TTS with those tunes he mentions will, in fact, blow the doors off a Huracan. More HP, all wheel drive, better steering...go check the head to head reviews. I've yet to find a Huracan that can hang on track with me, either. Performante ups the ante, but we don't seem to be talking about that. Don't get me wrong, the Huracan is a very special car.

A Perf is also no slouch in a straight line, w AWD and 640HP .
Having said all of that - I LOVE my TT - they are v different.

THat is what I am thinking....which is why I want the Turbo as my Daily. But I plan to keep my Huracan as a well....wish it was a Perf but wasn't available in 2015. The TTS and Lambo are clearly two different beasts that stimulate the senses differently...but both amazing in their own way.

I had a huracan and it was definitely a blast, obviously beats the turbo in innate special factor as well...it's totally exotic! But I ultimately replaced it with a 991.2 turbo S as it's just better all around, has more low end torque and I don't feel nearly as iffy taking it to meet with clients etc etc. Both are pretty awesome at the end of the day! Would LOVE to drive a performante though, has to be sweet!!!

Its a Speed Yellow C2 with factory Aero. And in showroom condition with 50K miles. I also have all the original non aero parts and has spectacular original paint... Hasn't touched rain for the past 20 years. I am thinking about selling it since its so perfect, I don't want to drive it. Here is a 2 min video of my cars with the star being the 993.

Great video Christian and nice collection! Thanks for the link.
I DD my 2014TTS and since it is my commute car I did not mod it. From what you posted I think that 2014 you looking at should be fine, if it's service history is fine.

Hey lowpue -- do some research on FabSpeed before you settle in on a car that has those modifications. I actually really liked the one guy (John I think?) from Fabspeed (no longer there), but ended up going with Dundon for my 981 Spyder. I really like Kline. No experience with Europipe.
Just curious -- have you driven a '17 C4S? With a cobb tune it'll likely be right there with a 991.1 TTS, have more warranty, newer tech (apple carplay, etc), slightly more responsive. Just might be worth driving at least as the first two years of depreciation have kicked in probably at this point. Otherwise, can't go wrong with the TTS. I would just ensure to buy CPO, have a PPI, and a paint meter reading on it. As others have pointed out, look at service records if they have them.

I want to meet the guy that buys a TTS and doesn’t maintain it, service wise. Do these people even exist? One thing is not maintaining it at the dealership but at another servicing agent but not maintaining it at all? You have to think that the guy buying a TTS is going to maintain it service wise.

at the dealership and flush the brake fluid. I did all the oil/filter changes myself, changed oil/filter every 5k miles. His comment was not much for service
records, I was kind of shocked at that response. I did not trade the car in.
