Is this a good deal? Been for sale for a while.

Does the car fax spook you? It appears the first year this was a dealer demo or am I missing something. 3k miles, but when vehicle first sold it jumps to 9k miles?

Looks to be okay.... review if options from my perspective. Your's may vary.

Pros- Low milage, color combo, PDCC, PCCB (assuming no track work), heated/vented seats, LED lights, sport chrono, CF trim and some other nice options. center lock wheels (some hate)

Cons - no entry and drive, reg sunroof (I prefer glass or none at all), 14 way seats which are a deal breaker for me... they might fit you well, CL wheels, some love them.

I think this is a good deal. I see it was used as a demo correct?

This one has been on sale for a while! Check the price history. I remember when I was looking for TT/TTS I had my eye on that one but the price was lower than that, I believe around 111k or 109k. Wonder why it shot up since sports car season is almost over.

Auction value on a 5-year-old Turbo is going to be 75-85K?

Yeah, been there a while. It is the car I referred to here, it was originally private party in Florida (and I was able to reverse searched the seller). Both that and this one have been for sale since April, what they have in common is Toyota dealerships. Can't see anything obviously wrong with them.

Looks like a turbo optioned up to almost turbo s specs. My opinion is if one wants CL wheels and PCCB etc might as well get the turbo s.

I am guessing that folks that buy Turbo (non s) don't want PCCB or CL wheels.

If you are cool with that then make them an offer! The longer it sits the better the deal you will get.

Also I am guessing no warranty. Might be worthwhile to get it CPO'd or get a warranty as part of the deal. Also make sure maintenance/tires are up to date and not needed.

Just out of curiosity whats the negative with 14 way seats?

How do you go about getting a Porsche CPO when its at a Toyota dealership? Any pointers?

Looks like they spec'd it to nearly match a TTS, but without the extra HP. It's $10K cheaper than a TTS - so do a tune and you're money ahead for driving/performance.

The 18 way are standard on the Turbo S, the 14 way are a no cost option, 14 is less than 18, Rough estimate I'd say 25% of cars have the 14 way optioned. As regards the negative it is down to personal preference, people who daily drive can prefer the 14 way because they are easier to get in and out of and more comfortable for long drives, others prefer the 18 way. Some find one type comfortable, others swear by the other. Extensive discussion here. I have seen a used Turbo S with the 4 way optioned in....

I think the non sport plus 14 way seats are way more comfortable. The seats I have in the TTS are definitely not comfortable for DD duties.

Michael_s 09-14-2018 07:57 AM

And I'm the exact opposite. I find the 14 ways very uncomfortable while the 18 way I can drive cross county... very different results on this topic.
