Default 991.1 TTS aftermarket exhaust question.

So I’ve read this forum for hours and hours. I’m between the tubi and europipe, as they seem to have the most fans on this forum. I absolutely love my car, but the sound just isn’t there. I really don’t want to listen to a drone all the time while highway driving, not that I do much time on the highways. Please give some some help making this choice.

Does anyone around central FL have either of these two? Maybe I’ll bring you a nice bottle of wine if I can hear them in person.

Thanks.

I'm a Europipe fan. Love mine. (I'm sure other brands are great too, but my car came with the EP. It's impressive)

Very little Drone on Sport Mode and WAY less on normal mode.

It stays very quiet until I press Sport / Sport Plus. Then it just sounds Perfect!!

Oh ok, I didn’t realize it changes with the push of the “sport” button. That’s great!

I also have the Europipe. Step at Europipe has just introduced a slightly louder version also. You would need to reach out to him for info.
I like my EP. sometimes I wish it had a little more grit. I had a Kline on my previous 4S which was awesome. Kline is a quality build also.

That's how it is on my TTS. I had a loaner Boxster S today from the Dealer while getting my PDK serviced. It was stock and didn't have the sport exhaust option. When I hit the "Sport" button, it changed exhaust notes just like my car. So when you add the Europipe (or I guess others too), it'll be louder on Sport / Sport Plus vs. Reg. mode. It's nice to be able to go Stealth or Sporty.

^^Fixed it for ya.

Nice.. Sometimes I'd like it a bit louder too but I'm truly happy over all with the sound it makes now on sport modes.

We offer fantastic sounding options for the 991.1TTS. Several have switched from other aftermarket exhausts and have been extremely pleased. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss.

Jeff is this the new louder EP? I’d be very interested in knowing what you think of it. Please post and possible sound clip.

Jeff,
You have to post a video of this exhaust. I was considering the same exhaust when my car originally arrived. But I was a little hesitant because Stef said that I could not use my OEM exhaust tips. and that they would have to be changed. I just didn't want to get rid of anything OEM at the time because I had just received my new car. Let me know if this has changed. If so I may consider having it installed this fall.

Can't wait to see and hear your car.

I have a 991.1 TT and installed the Kline system with 200 cel cats. Similar to the Europipe, quiet when you want it to be and angry when you get the revs up. Love the setup over stock exhaust & cats.

I was planning on going with Tubi, until I heard Kline with headers and 100 cell cats, that was my choice and it's perfect for me, whisper quiet at light to medium throttle, and mean after that

I heard them all.

- Kline Race (no cats) is my top choice (X-pipe)
- Kline Street (no cats) with the twin mufflers and X-pipe
- Kline Street (catted) with the twin mufflers and X-pipe

I currently have Tubi and stock cats, pretty similar to a 991.2 Carrera S Sport exhaust (just a little louder), same tones as stock which as plenty good. I like the Europipe better than my current setup, but the Kline x-pipe stuff is a much nicer sound frequency.
