For me it turned out to be only a street traction issue that resolved on the track with R888

It works in Sport too even though the manual doesn't reference it. I usually do it from Sport because I drive in Sport.

Hmmm, did not think of that one, you are saying that the spinning in 1st would cause the PDK to go bonkers?

Thanks guys. My car is stock indeed. Just weird and did it one more of 4 pother launches. I don't get it.
