We are currently working on resolving the issues we had with this service and the dealership is turning this from a negative situation to a positive situation. Just glad we have resolved it and the dealership stepped up to make us feel comfortable with the service that was provided.

No reason at all, just going to talk to the tech and ask why.. as you can see I record everything and including the conversations with the GM and everyone I talked to at the dealership. They want to credit the tire, but how do I know they are not also lying about the service?

I’m with Penn4S. There is no good reason for a service technician to disconnect a dash cam. It’s not as if the cam will capture much of the work being performed. Just no good reason.
Some me years ago I remember seeing a hidden camera video of a shady mechanic performing routine fluid changes and the camera shows no oil being drained.
If if it’s a reputable Porsche dealer, they have allot to lose if they aren’t performing the prescribed maintainance but charging and providing paperwork saying they did.

Maybe it's as simple as the Tech wanted to work in peace without Big Brother watching his every move. Techs are people too.
And as for performing service, if Customer states he wants the oil changed, they change it. These are Certified techs, not garbage folks who just fell off a pumpkin truck.

For my 2015 it was 2 yr 20K mi = oil & filter change, cabin air filter, air filter. If out of pocket typical pricing here was $600-700. see your owners manual or ask dealer for a print out of detailed services at intervals 20K 30 40 50 etc.

With older cars, you could pull out the dipstick to see if the oil is fresh. How can you check with modern cars that don’t have them? You can open the brake fluid reservoir to see if the fluid looks clean, and even if it does, you can check how much moisture is in the fluid with a relatively inexpensive tester (fresh fluid should have almost no moisture).

Go to Porsche of North Houston. I cannot say enough terrific things about them. Mike Yale the service manager is a class act and they are 100% customer focused. Did some business with West Houston some time back - not impressed.
