Farewell 2017 Night Blue, Hello 2018 Chalk
Well, as if it isn't ridiculous enough to be spending on a car what a TTS costs, and then getting a BGTS to boot, we've now taken 1st world excess one step further. A little over a year after taking delivery of our 2017 Night Blue TTS, we were so smitten by a heavily optioned 2018 Chalk beauty sitting on our dealer's showroom floor that we took the completely financially nutty (but emotionally sooooo sweet) step of trading in our Blue for that gorgeous Chalk. We did the deal today; we're having the car fully Xpel-coated and windows tinted, so we'll formally take delivery a week from today. I hope to post pics after that.
Wow. It wasn't that long ago that I thought it was outrageous to spend this kind of money on a car, let alone a couple of them, let alone trading in an almost-new-depreciated one on another one just to get a particular color! There's no antibiotic for treating the Porsche bug....

Good for you!

Chalk is very nice. I've never really been a fan of white on the 911's but chalk is a bit of a different animal. We have one with the aero kit pkg painted black with deviated stitched interior. Absolutely stunning!

Mine doesn't have the aerokit but it does have tons of carbon fiber and a deviated stitched interior with chalk seat inserts front and back, just blew us away when we saw it. Can you post pics of yours? (I'll post pics of mine after I pick it up and get a chance to do it right.)
